Nicki Ness, PA
Nicki was raised on a farm in Garwin, Iowa. She completed her undergraduate degree at Central College in Pella before attending Des Moines University, where she earned her Master of Science in Physician Assistant Studies. With over a decade of experience in conventional medicine, working in cardiology and primary care, Nicki found her calling in functional medicine. She is thrilled to now have the opportunity to spend more time with patients, addressing the root causes of health concerns rather than just treating symptoms. Nicki is passionate about partnering with her patients to help them achieve sustainable, long-term wellness by cultivating healthy lifestyle habits and pursuing lifelong vitality. She believes that the body is wonderfully designed and that natural methods and the healing properties of God’s creation can support our journey toward better health. Through individualized care plans, she empowers her patients to take control of their health and embrace natural, holistic approaches to wellness and healing. Nicki resides near Van Meter with her husband, Drew, and their four young children. She loves spending quality time with family and friends, being outdoors, and caring for their home and property. Outside of home and work, Nicki enjoys working out and can often be found participating in local and regional CrossFit competitions.
